A leaked image of the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro, spotted on Weibo, offers an early look at its two-tone finish and design evolution ahead of its China launch.
What Changed
The OnePlus Ace 7 Pro’s design has diverged significantly from the OnePlus 16 series. A leaked image circulating on Weibo shows a two-tone color scheme, a redesigned rear camera module, and prominent Ace branding. This marks a departure from the previous series’ aesthetic, reflecting a shift toward a more modern, premium appearance. The image highlights a larger camera module, suggesting enhanced imaging capabilities, though specific hardware details remain unconfirmed. The design also incorporates a dual-tone finish, with color options not yet disclosed, indicating a departure from the monochromatic approach of earlier models.
What Is Confirmed
The leaked image confirms the Ace 7 Pro’s two-tone finish and redesigned rear camera module. It also verifies the presence of Ace branding on the device, likely to include the series’ logo in a prominent position. While exact specifications are not fully confirmed, the design aligns with reports of a 6.78-inch 185Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and a large battery capacity. The standard Ace 7 model is expected to share similar design elements but with fewer camera features, such as the absence of optical image stabilization (OIS).
Unconfirmed details include the exact battery capacity, which ranges from 9000 mAh in early leaks to unspecified values, and the charging speed, reported to be either 100W or 120W. The Ace 7 Pro’s camera specifications, including the presence of a periscope telephoto lens, are also not definitively confirmed.
What to Watch or Do Next
Tech consumers and developers should monitor official announcements and further leaks for precise specifications and pricing. The OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro are expected to launch in China later this month, with additional details likely to emerge in the coming days. Key areas to track include the exact battery capacity, charging speed, and the final design of the standard Ace 7 model.
The leaked image provides a clear preview of the Ace 7 Pro’s design, but final confirmation of its specifications will depend on official documentation. Until then, the two-tone finish and redesigned camera module represent the most concrete details available.
